Don't Purchase! : Blue Magic Bergamot Hair & Scalp Conditioner
Okay y'all, Blue Magic Bergamot Hair & Scalp Conditioner is definitely not the hair product to use as a daily moisturizer or to put on the scalp. I know a lot of people (including me) used to put this in their hair usually when they would press or flat iron their hair. Or if we thought our scalp was dry, we would put this on our scalp.
This hair grease claims to moisturize and condition our hair and scalp. It even claims that it is not GREASY! (really?..okay), and it says it prevents hair breakage, hair dryness, and itchy scalp. But little did we know that their ingredients are actually bad for our hair. These are their ingredients: Petrolatum, Lanolin, Olea Europaea ( Olive) Fruit Oil, Lecithin, Isopropyl Myristate, Fragrance, Yellow 11, and Green 6. I underlined the ingredient that is really a "no, no" for our hair and scalp. Petrolatum is not good to leave in our hair because it clogs and dries out our already dry hair.
When our pores are clogged, this prevents circulation. Poor circulation = no hair growth. So y'all, this product is not what we should have in our hair regimen at all. Trust me, I used to use this product for YEARS and my hair and scalp ain't never change until I STOPPED using this hair product.

ReplyDeleteYour welcome NeWbiEiNTaMpA.
ReplyDeleteI have a huge jar at home. I use it on my DD hair because of her dry flaky scalp. She scratched the hair out in her nape. I use it not as moisturizer, but as a sealant after I moisturize properly. I also massage her scalp to aid in blood flow. I use a tea tree deep conditioner as well to open her pores. I think the thing is to use it part of a routine and not over apply.

ReplyDeleteI Love the green one it’s the only product that moisturize my hair and keeps it from breaking.
ReplyDeleteThis article is bs. Natural hair gurus know it all right? Why a product that so many of our moms used to grow and maintain our hair while we were young is all of a sudden bad for us now. Using this and water and my hair is waist length. All these natural hair products have an angle. Yall better educate yourselves.
