Use Heat Protectants! It is very important when you straighten your hair to use a heat protectant. Heat protectants protects your hair from heat damage and makes your hair straighten better in the process.
Personally, I use Fantasia IC Hair Polisher Heat Protector Straightening Serum.
It is really a good product. It didn't make my hair greasy and it prevents my hair from frizz. Also, it brings shine to my hair and it smells good.

Yeah it's something similar to the hair polisher heat protectant I use but I think that is just the one to use for when you want to bring shine to your hair.
